Terms & cancellation

Clear terms. No surprises.

The terms for using TradeCore to organise your trade business, including your trial, subscription and cancellation.

Last updated 19 September 2026

1. Who provides TradeCore

TradeCore is operated by Stuart Marshall, a sole trader trading as TradeCore, at 48 Glyn Road, Birmingham, B32 2TA, United Kingdom. Contact: support@tradecore.ltd. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Stuart Marshall trading as TradeCore. TradeCore is a trading name, not a statement that the business is a limited company.

The service is intended for business use. By creating a company account, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business. These terms apply alongside the plan and price agreed at signup or checkout.

2. Your account and company records

Provide accurate information, protect login details and report suspected unauthorised access promptly. Your business is responsible for the users it invites, their permissions and the accuracy and lawful use of information it enters, including worker details, rates, attendance, location evidence and photographs.

You retain ownership of your content and permit us to process it to provide, secure and support the service. Do not upload unlawful material, access another company’s records, misuse shared links or interfere with the service.

3. Your 30-day free trial

No card is required to start. Your chosen plan’s active-worker allowance applies immediately, with all features and unlimited sites, administrators and managers. Administrators and managers do not count towards the worker allowance.

A trial does not turn into a chargeable subscription without your payment authorisation. If you do not arrange payment, operational access pauses at the end of the trial and Billing remains available. If you authorise a paid subscription during the trial, check the checkout summary for the first payment date and recurring amount.

4. Monthly subscriptions and payments

Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. The checkout summary shows the final amount payable in pounds sterling. Stripe handles payment details and subscription payments; TradeCore does not store full card numbers. Enterprise pricing and worker allowances are agreed individually.

If a renewal payment fails, we may retry collection through Stripe. Operational access pauses once paid access expires; a full administrator can use Billing to resolve payment. Promotional codes are subject to the offer’s eligibility, expiry and duration. When a discount ends, the agreed standard price applies.

5. Changing your plan

A full administrator can manage the plan in Billing. Upgrades are charged proportionally for the remaining billing period and apply after payment succeeds. Downgrades take effect at renewal; active workers must fit the lower allowance. A scheduled downgrade also restricts new worker activations to that lower allowance.

Publishing new prices for new customers does not automatically change an existing agreed subscription. Any proposed change to your agreement will be communicated before it takes effect.

6. Cancel any time

You can request cancellation at any time through Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You can continue using the app until then. Check Billing for the cancellation confirmation and access end date.

If you have a no-card trial and have not authorised a subscription, there is no paid renewal to cancel. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your company or its records. Contact support separately about closure, data access or deletion.

Cancellation does not automatically refund an already-paid period. Contact us about duplicate charges, billing errors, service problems or a refund request. Nothing in these terms removes any refund or other remedy required by law. If you cannot access Billing, email support promptly so we can help.

7. What the app does — and your checks

TradeCore is a work-management tool, not a payroll bureau, accountant, employment adviser or health-and-safety service. Your business must check timesheets, completed pricework, rates and invoices before approving or paying them. Marking a worker invoice as paid records a payment; it does not transfer money to the worker.

Your business remains responsible for employment status, wages, tax, statutory records, site safety and its contracts. Device clocks, location readings, connectivity and user-entered information may be inaccurate. Independently check important records and retain copies needed for your legal obligations.

8. Availability and support

We will use reasonable care and skill in providing TradeCore. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, that every defect will be absent, or that the app will meet every individual business requirement. Maintenance, network problems and failures of external services can affect availability. Tell us about problems at support@tradecore.ltd so we can investigate.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful activity, material misuse or unpaid subscriptions. Where practical we will explain the reason and how to resolve it.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that protection and to the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses, including loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity. We are not responsible to the extent that a loss is caused by inaccurate information supplied by you, unauthorised use resulting from your failure to protect access, your breach of these terms, or decisions taken without checks that your business is responsible for making.

These exclusions apply only where lawful and reasonable. They do not remove our responsibility to provide the service with reasonable care and skill, or excuse loss caused by our own breach where liability cannot reasonably be excluded.

10. Privacy, changes and disputes

Our privacy notice explains how personal information is handled. We may update these terms as the service or law changes and will communicate material changes affecting existing subscriptions before they apply.

Contact support first with complaints or disputes so we can try to resolve them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
